1945: Divorces Husband Vincent Hopper


1945: Harvard Mark I is the world's most easily programmable large computer


1945: Visits the ENIAC


1946: Finishes "A Manual of Operation for the Automatic Sequence Controlled Calculator"


1946: Is awarded the Naval Ordnance Development Award


1969: Is awarded the first computer science Man-of-the-Year Award


1986: Retires from the Navy
